As a part of the development of the 2019 Capital Improvement Plan, the Town identified and prioritized multiple projects throughout the community that needed to be undertaken. One of the highest rated projects was the replacement of sewer lines and the alleys in the Harris Addition.
The Town hosted a public meeting on Sept. 16, 2019 to provide and receive information from those living in the subdivision. At that time, the Town committed to providing additional information to the public prior to bidding the project for construction.
Design work on this project has continued and we are getting close to bidding this project in the next two months. We expect construction to start before the end of 2020.
In view of the unprecedented health concerns related to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Town wishes to avoid unnecessary risks to the public. In view of this, rather than have an additional public meeting, we have put together an updated and expanded FAQ document to provide information to the Town’s residents.
