expired Motor Vehicle Registration:
Defendants may be eligible to have this violation dismissed if the registration is renewed within 30 days of receiving the citation.
Registration must not have been expired for more than six (6) months from the date of the offense. If the registration was expired for more than six (6) months, it is NOT eligible for a compliance dismissal, but may be eligible for Deferred Disposition.
Defendants must present evidence that he or she paid the late registration penalty with the appropriate county tax assessor's office.
Defendant must pay a $20 administrative fee to the Court.
Expired Drivers License:
Defendants may be eligible to have this violation dismissed if the driver's license is renewed within 30 days of receiving the citation.
Defendant must present proof of renewal.
Defendant must pay a $20 administrative fee to the Court.
Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility:
If you receive a citation for Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility (FMFR), please submit proof to the court that the insurance was in effect on the day and time you received your citation. The Court will contact the insurance company to verify that the insurance was active. As long as the coverage is verified, the citation will be dismissed for no charge.
If the Court is unable to verify the insurance coverage on the date and time of the violation, you are NOT eligible for a compliance dismissal, however you may be eligible for Deferred Disposition.
