During this year's budget process, Town leadership found ways to save you money while improving Town services. One of those opportunities will show up in your wastewater utility bill.
A new winter sewer average was adopted which calculates your wastewater charge based on your water consumption during the months of December, January and February. This will help offset a water rate increase from the North Texas Municipal Water District and save the average Sunnyvale homeowner approximately $235 annually. The Town Council also approved a 20% homestead exemption for Sunnyvale homeowners, which will save the average homeowner about $450 annually. Go to TownofSunnyvale.org/Homestead to learn more.
